Our Reason to Be
Hope Redefined Ministries was birthed from the passion to love and walk beside women facing sexual betrayal in their marriage and close relationships. Hope Redefined is a place where you can find real life support, encouragement and connect other women who are facing similar pain. We are a community who finds HOPE in the face of the destruction that sexual addiction can have on so many of us. Our mission is to create a safe community and provide faith-based support.
Birthed from the Fire of Betrayal
Lyschel Burket discovered her husband’s sexual addiction in late 2005. She searched for support and community which she received through a group of sisters in Christ. Over the next decade, Lyschel began working on her own heart, discovering who God truly said she is, and recognizing His delight in her. As her affections grew for her Maker, her husband, Garren, was on his own journey of recovery and healing. The journey held setbacks, tear-filled nights as well as a stronger, closer commitment to God, to each other and the battle against sexual sin in their marriage.
From a place of ashes came Hope Redefined Ministries. Our staff are are all familiar with the smell, fear, anger, and sorrow that comes with this type of “betrayal fire” in a marriage. Hope Redefined strives to be a place where we walk with women as they begin to wipe the soot off, heal from the burns, learn to live with and grow from the scars, and put on the war paint. We are in battle to heal our scorched hearts and repair the scars in our marriages. Hope Redefined helps you heal through the trauma of betrayal, giving you tools to care for yourself and your marriage.
